Human Evolution as a Game
I came across THIS ARTICLE and thought it might be of interest, even if it is not particularly geological. It describes a computer game where you play a group of hominins and try to get from being a chimpanzee to being Homo erectus.
The author of the article tells us that it is based on modern research - particularly HIS research - and the trailer looks quite good. It covers 8 million years, from 10 million BP to 2 million BP, but thankfully, does not take as long to play! Apparently 50 hours should get you to standing erect!
