de la Beche unconformity, Vallis Vale, near Frome

Very nice work Alan - this is the best I've ever seen it in 50 years. Incidentally, the Bartlett's section of Coleman's Quarry near Holwell (Hanson Aggregates) is worth keeping an eye on. The unconformity surface, stripped by active quarrying, shows huge undulations, lag conglomerates, oyster pavements and barytocalcite filled fractures from time to time.
